But did you know that the catalogue of great titles for Wii and Nintendo DSi actually includes affordable games that you and your family can get your hands on without leaving the sofa?
The Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop services enable you to download new games directly to your Wii or Nintendo DSi consoles, giving you instant access to a whole host of software suitable for all the family.
Titles bought from the Wii Shop Channel come in two categories: WiiWare and Virtual Console games. WiiWare games are original titles created especially for Wii, while those available via the Virtual Console service are classic games originally released for other games consoles.
Software that can be downloaded directly to the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL is known as Nintendo DSiWare, which includes games in a variety of genres as well as fun applications for your handheld system.
